I am just finishing up a week at MAA MathFest in Indianapolis, IA (including graduating as an MAA Project NExT fellow). While I was there, I gave a talk on mathematics and voice recognition, titled: Voice Recognition & Mathematics, Reclaiming a Lost Technology. Sometime later I will write a longer blog post that will not only include the content of my talk, but also a lot of information I learned preparing for the conference.
